Despite having this server up for around 3 months, I haven't bothered to put up a blog up until now. That being said, there was already 2 guides I setup 2-3 months ago (links below), however since I didn't really blog or put out my site somewhere else, those obviously aren't going to be seen regardless till now. Nevertheless, lets talk about what I've been up to recently.

If you see this blog via HTTPS, and compare to the Gemini version, it's simply just a Gemini to HTML generated version of the Gemini site. I've recently worked on this Gemini to HTML static site generator called "gmi2html" and that is what generating the HTML in the HTTPS site now!
That is not the only thing, I also written a separate program called "gemlog2feed" which just converts gemlog entries into atom feed. gmi2html can also recognise the atom feed and convert any gemini links to HTTPS ones.
Currently, they're at a rough but workable state. I might have some checking over and more features to do before I tag them for a release, but it works for what I want for now. Also, a basic setup guide will be put up for them also, but the configuration is rather simple already anyway.
I also started working on a Git repositories to Gemini static site generator, but that still has quite a way to go. Whenever it gets to a stage where there'll be a Gemini version of the git repository site, then I'll blog about it anyway.
I might have a go and try setting up email in this server. Certainly have a lot more to setup compared to a web server, so it seems kind of a put off, but just want to try out what its like setting up and using an email server for myself.
One particular use of this would be to have it for somewhere for anyone to send in git patches to contribute to one of my repository. Otherwise, the email won't be taken too seriously for the time being.
Even though I already do have some email accounts, I want to participate (or at least have a try) it in a more, federated way, as email typically intended to be rather than just sign up to the bigger email providers.
I will use it on updates about software I wrote, and notify about some new guides/changes. I treat guides separate from blogs as guides can have stuff that may need updated, where-as a blog post is generally a one-off thing.
From time to time, I might have some thoughts/opinion I might want to write it out. Could be anything really, typically related to technology in general.
