#UFO #neigbor #garbage #recycling Fri Dec 18 01:15:39 PM CET 2020 We're customers of deponia.hu, a Hungarian garbage disposal company. They pick up recyclable materials every other week, on Friday. They specially state on the site that recyclable, for them, are *clean* paper, plastic or metal. They even ask not to give them things like oily paper. Neigbor bought a big LCD TV, asked me to help her unpack. I did. Today morning, when prepared my garbage can for pick up, I saw that big ass TV box also prepared outside of the entrance. With the usual packing styrofoam pieces inside of the box. Styrofoam is not suitable for this service coming by today, the TV box is very good, that's paper, nice. Wrote a message to neigbor (not at home) that styrofoam is not good, so probably they'll just leave it here. I also volunteered to move the leftover styrofoam back to her door because winds can blow it away and that could be a potential traffic hazard. She replied that I'm very kind. Then I realized that this is worse than that. Worst case scenario is that: disposal personnel just drops the whole box into the truck without checking. Then, when the truck tears it into pieces, the styrofoam is discovered and then the company will be really angry to.. the whole 5 families living here, attributing the incident to the place rather than a single person (because the person responsible wouldn't be showing up).
