Me and Doraemon have quite the history, being as it was the first manga I ever read. My elementary school was part of a sister school program. It was in its infancy at the time, only being nurtured by a sole, very determined music teacher.
I was selected to read the Shoukugan english volumes as part of the small Japanese club she was running. Reflecting back, I wish I had spent some more time reading the furigana in the volumes as well as the english.
The movies are touching, while also showing the difficulties that come with having all your troubles solved for you. It's a struggle to keep trying when you fail and it seems to make no difference what is done. But with continual effort, with friends and with the right methods, miracles can be done.
Its going in a very exciting direction right now, with the introduction of a third faction Weekend. It remains to be seen if they are as morally dubious as Fenix or if they simply like to be cryptic.
Tamaki is soon becoming one of my favorite characters in the show (until Hiromicchi comes back at least lol). Vice is also developing quite nicely, though I understand why people have their reservations with the character.
I struggle to write for myself in the same way I write for fantasy or reports. I fear it may never be as engaging as even in this sentance I've started it with "I" again. Such a small trouble. Personal discussions aren't really my style, so I'll leave it at this: Don't expect it much.
