Hello, Geminispace!

I am establishing this gemlog in the hopes of participating more in the Gemini network and community.

You may know me from having developed a dillo-gemini plugin, and posting occasionally on the Gemini mailing list and DeltaChat group.

I am also active on the SSB (Secure Scuttlebutt) network, where I have developed some applications, including git-ssb, sbotc and patchfoo. You can find my SSB activity on the web via scuttlebot.io:

A reply to one of my messages on the Gemini mailing list reminded me of the efficacy of Gemini itself as a discussion medium:

So I am here now formally introducing myself. I'm also thinking of the tradition on SSB of "#new-people" posts.

This gemlog has backlink functionality, intended to function similarly to blog trackbacks or pingbacks. Each post has a "Add Backlink" link that you can use to submit your backlink to add to the page. You are welcome to use this to add links to pages you make that reference my posts.

This gemlog also has an Atom feed:

I am interested in software freedom and decentralization. I like the simplicity of Gemini and am happy to participate in this community.
