Ray Kirby, owner of the family-run store said: "What a call to get from the National Lottery,

"We have quite a lot of locals who come into us regularly so you never know, it could be someone from the area who won which would be great.

"We have already had a few customers in checking their tickets this morning and I reckon as soon as word spreads, we'll have even more in,

"There will definitely be a great buzz around the place now heading into the bank holiday weekend!"

The lucky Cork winner is the 16th official National Lottery millionaire so far this year, but the Mallow player is yet to claim their big win.

The winning numbers for Thursday’s (28th April) 2pm draw were: 20, 23, 25, 33, 36, 39 and the bonus was 04.

The Cork winner is advised to sign the back of their ticket and keep it safe. They should contact the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their life-changing prize.
