My 2012 TV and Gemini

I have a 2012 Panasonic Viera TV that is not that great but works... Let's talk about it.

What I do on my TV

I have a box hooked up to it that allows me to watch TV, it's proprietary but works fine. It also allows me to watch YouTube which is something I do alot. I can also just hook up anything using HDMI. And yes, it has a headphone jack, on a tv...

The Web Browser

There a lot of issues I'll just list really quickly here:

It generally feels unfinished, for example: When adding a bookmark, it just pops up an error with the text "cant add anymore". Exactly like that, I know Panasonic spent like 20 dollars on development but still, fix yo stuff.

Other apps

You have an app store with a few apps, all of them don't get updated anymore and are about 7 years old.

In the case of TuneIn, an app that exists. Like 50% of stations work, I have no idea why some don't work but they just don't. And there's no support you'll get for that tv purely because it's so old.

The Future / A call to action

Homebrew for the tv would be possible, since you can install updates from an usb drive. So that might be an option, I just don't have the capability to make homebrew for this. I guess other people can try to make it if they are able to, I'll gladly help (contact me through the about page).
