I'm still alive!

It's 4:38pm on a hot Tuseday. Campus is packed for the first week of the semester. My last class of the day is crawling with freshmen making awkward instroductions and trying to find their place. Is this what I sounded like? I guess this is on me for scheduling late and ending up having to pack my schedule with electives.

Last show was a good week before the dorm's move in date move in, so I won't know the newcomers to my smaller scene for a few weeks.

I'm safe from the shocks!

Thanks to the guy who sent me an email to tell me not to experiment with the screw much longer, it came a few hours after the in house maintenance tech came in to solve the problem. The maintenence dude was supposedly certified, whatever that means to my landlord, but it took me demonstrating in person how to deliver a shock for him to even check the wiring further up. And even after that he had me try it again in person. Something must have been dampening the shock somehow, because it felt weaker than I feel it usually should be. However it's still insane to me that he didn't take it very seriously.

Linux for notes

I feel like there has to be a better solution than plaintext/latex for taking notes in class on my laptop. I've never been really impressed with the handwriting tools available for my old touchscreen laptop, and manually organizing the files sounds tedious. Maybe something closer to a wiki editor with easy links could help. I'm curious as to what you guys use/used in the past. If you've got any favorites, shoot me an email or a text on matrix

Have a great one everybody!
