Hi.
This is my second meal for Ekadashi. I made fruit salad.
Ingredients:
1. Bananas
2. Apples
3. Sapotas
4. Pears
5. Pawpaws
6. Avocados
7. Strawberries
8. Grapes
9. Milk
10. Ice cream
Method:
1. Boil milk and cool it
2. Wash all the fruits, peel them, and chop all of them except the sapotas
and avocados into tiny pieces
3. Blend the avocado and sapotas
3. Dump all the fruits in the milk
4. Stir and put in the refrigerator
5. Serve cold with ice cream on top
Chef notes:
1. You can add flavored milkshake syrup such as strawberry if you have it.
I don't have it so I'll put it on my shopping list for when I have extra
cash left over from my grocery shopping.
2. You can add sugar if you like. I don't use sugar in any of my dishes.
3. If you know how to make home-made ice cream, you can try making fruit
salad ice cream.
4. You may add a sprinkle of dried and finely-ground nuts on top if you like,
or maybe the whole pieces. I once added walnuts, raisins, cashewnuts,
pistachios and groundnuts but it didn't taste so good. Too heavy for my
stomach.
5. If you like mangoes, you can add ripe mango pieces when serving.
