I gotta be honest, xxr, you hit the nail on the head with this one. `dillo' sounds very much like another *ahem* word. Maybe try thinking of it in terms of `quesadillo' or `picadillo' (though that last means something else ~not great~, let me see ... )
a spicy Latin-American hash or stew of meat and vegetables often with raisins and olives that is commonly used as a filling (as for tacos) or served with rice and beans
... well, I was wrong. Picadillo sounds delicous! PLUS: `pica' means `small', right? And dillo is a *small* web browser ...

okay, but now I'm really curious as to where the name `dillo' came from. So let's see what I can find (I'll be back, not that you'll notice .... )
according to this (thanks Wikipedia!)
the name `dillo' came from another browser that dillo is based on called `armadillo', "hence the name" (says Wikipedia).
I wasn't able to find anything on the `armadillo' browser (it's probably lost to the sands of time, like an hourglass....) but I was able to find this neat website:
