In my second post here at NAF Musings, I discussed writing an introduction to RSS/Atom feeds on my main project, The New Leaf Journal. I learned about JSON feeds while performing research to write that article. Now I have never used a JSON feed in a feed reader. In fact, I do not think that my feed readers support the format. But the idea of there being a format that The New Leaf Journal did not support (WordPress produces multiple types of RSS feeds and an Atom Feed) made me sad. Thus, I added JSON feed support via plugin.
Does anyone here use JSON feeds? Were the 10 minutes I spent checking the plugin before installing it worth the trouble? Does smol.pub need JSON feeds? I don't track people in creepy ways, so I may never know the answer.
