Maybe you are not like me, but many times I feel overwhelmed by life. Expectations at work, maintaining a somewhat healthy social life, hobbies I wish I had, things I just dream of doing, news that I am supposed to keep up with, frustrations that keep accumulating… This is just depressing.
I felt that there could be ways to help me live out of the chaos. There should be a way to get out of this fast paced “train of life,” and actually enjoy the life I have (as much as I can control it, at least). So, here I keep a few thoughts to remind myself of things that help me live life intentionally. Zoning out of the chaos, and trying to be present where I live, at my job, caring for those close to me, and for the environment I am living in.
Sometimes I fear we think so much on things we cannot control (leading to anxiety), instead of spending time on what we could actually have an influence on. Taking care of my life, my house, and my neighborhood are already challenges I can barely control, but I do think spending time on those can effectively change how I live. Thinking on a smaller scale, for me, has been very helpful to have a healthier life.
So here I keep practical tips and ideas that help me organize and enjoy life.
