It has been some time since I have written anything to this particular archive/gemlog, mainly because Logarion suddenly started to undergo active development again, and a lot of the features had been in flux. Of course, I technically could have continued using it during that time, but I just wanted to wait for the new system to settle in a bit. The changes affect everything about it, such as authoring and publishing files, site layout, look-and-feel, etc. Even formats are changing!
That means I'm going to have to learn some new things about how to author files but the new system promises to be more flexible. Also I had to convert my existing archives to a (slightly) new format, which merely entailed modifying their headers to remove lines that are no longer needed.
In lieau of using my Logarion archives, I have been gemlogging to tilde.team using my very basic Bash script to get simple posts out quickly with a single command. That is a good system for a basic gemlog, but the end goal with Logarion is to build something a little bit more powerful: a searchable, federated archive of documents, automatically exported to multiple formats.
