Here are some fractal documentaries you can watch for free right now. Didnt know most of these videos existed until doing some serious digging. So, I figured that I should do my part to make them more accessible by linking them here for all to see. The documentaries are a bit older, from the 90s. But have aged well in a timeless way. All of them except the PBS one was directed by Nigel Lesmoir-Gordon, he's an interesting dude who personally knew some Pink Floyd members. I ecourage you to check out his website linked at the bottom. Hope you find something new! Enjoy! ^-^
Introductory documentary into the concept of fractals, roughness, the mandlbrot set and more. Features Arthur C. Clarke, Benoit B. Mandelbrot, Michael Barnsley.

In 2011 A remastered version of the documentary was released along side a revised version of the book. Both are free to download from the publishers website. The documentary has some new fractal animations generated from modern-ish hardware and the book has a new chapter 7 contributed by Mandelbrot himself.

A biographical documentary about Benoit Mandelbrot's life. Mandelbrot is the father of fractal geometry for those that didn't know.

A more philosophically themed science documentary which looks at the mystery of consciousness and the relationship between maths, the mind and the physical, observable universe.

Theres a documentary thats exclusive to Amazon Video called "Mandelbrot's World Of Fractals". I havent watched it yet, sorry :-(
Watch "Mandelbrot's World Of Fractals" on Amazon Prime Video
another great introductory into fractals which is slightly more modern than the previous documentaries.

Along with the 2004-2006 editions of the 'Colors Of Infinity' physical books came a supplemental DVD which contained a bonus music video 30 minutes in length featuring the documentaries soundtrack music by David Gilmore of Pink Floyd fame over some trippy color-cycling mandelbrot zooms/pans. Not essential but a good watch if you want to chill out.
While Infinit does contain Davids iconic tracks used in the documentary, it also has some filler music. Someone was nice enough to isolate his contributions and upload them as a 15 minute video. If you have 15 minutes to kill and are a Pink Floyd fan give it a go.
