The Benthic Zone

Welcome to the bottom of the ocean!

I am an oceanographer by trade, which really means that I am a computer programmer who occasionally goes on a boat for my job. Mostly I build statistical models to analyze data about sediments on the seafloor. Outside of work, I am an avid fan of professional cycling, and I enjoy reading science fiction and fantasy.
