Pizza - School Recipe (1st attempt)

Backstory

My son's school has a wonderful program that teaches life skills. Back in the US I'd have called it a home economics class. The kids learn to cook and clean and many other useful tasks for living. They learn what foods are healthy, how to use a knife or oven safely, and so on. At the end of each year's cooking program the kids get a book to take home that contains all the recipes they worked with that year. Since the kids have exposure to these already they become great projects to do at home with the parents, developing their confidence further.

We've baked cookies and other treats in the past and today we wanted to do something for lunch. After a bit of discussion we settled on the pizza recipe. It's pretty basic. Really it's just a recipe for the crust. Then it says, "add cheese and other pizza toppings" before baking, but... you know... in Icelandic.

Attempt #1

This is my first attempt at the recipe, though Wit had worked with it at school before. They didn't make full pizzas but rather used cookie cutters to make mini pizzas in fun shapes. I kept things more traditional.

The recipe's measurements are all in Icelandic, so some translations were needed. I also don't have small metric measuring tools, so most of this was approximated with 1 Tbsp = 14 ml, 1 tsp = 5 ml.

I followed the instructions below, then added the following toppings before baking: salt, garlic powder, oregano, basil, salami, tomato sauce (spread with spoon), chopped fresh basil, mozzerella.
