Amfora keyboard shortcuts

You can see all keyboard shortcuts by pressing '?'. All of them can be remapped and '?' will display your actual keyboard shortcuts. This page describes defaults.

Navigation

Open URL input bar: Space

You can type a few different things in the URL input bar:

URL
Search query
Link number
'new:N' - open link N in a new tab
'..' - go one level up in the current URL

You can configure a URL to be your homepage:

Open homepage: Ctrl + H

There are few useful internal pages:

about:about - list of all internal pages: No shortcuts

about:bookmarks - list of bookmarks: Ctrl + B

about:subscriptions - updates from subscribed feeds: Ctrl + A

Scrolling

Scroll up/down: Up/Down or K/J
Scroll left/right: Left/Right or H/L
Page down: D or PgDown
Page up: U or PgUp
To the top: G or Home
To the bottom: Shift + G or End

Navigation history

Back: B or Alt + Left
Forward: F or Alt + Right

Tabs

New tab: Ctrl + T
Go to tab 1-9: Shift + 1-9
Go to last tab: Shift + 0
Go to next/previous tab: No shortcuts
Close tab: Ctrl + W (only works on the last tab)

Tip: you can configure keyboard shortcuts for next/previous tab. I set them to 'T' and 'Shift + T':

Current page

Reload the page: Shift + R or Ctrl + R
Copy current URL: Shift + C
Open URL bar with current URL: E

Bookmarks and subscriptions

Add or remove a bookmark: Ctrl + D
All bookmarks: Ctrl + B

Add or update subscription: Ctrl + X
Updates from subscribed feeds: Ctrl + A

Popup UI navigation

Next button or input: Tab
Previous button or input: Shift + Tab

Quit

Quit: Q or Ctrl + C
