My reply was based on seeing this upon searching for some meaning in the matter of the 'uxoris':

uxorious

ŭk-sôr′ē-əs, ŭg-zôr′-

adjective

- Excessively submissive or devoted to one's wife.

- Excessively fond of, or submissive to, a wife; being a dependent husband.

- Overly devoted or submissive to one's wife.

Needless to say (contender for the most pointless phrase on the internets..?), I didn't know whether to do more dishes or cut it off.... :-)
