I don't know if I mentioned this, but I am now using LineageOS on mobile and it feels __so good__ to have software freedom on all devices I use now. Even my smart TV runs on Kodi, lol.

Understanding history means coming to factual conclusions. Fact: The US has been hostile the Russia by expanding NATO. All the seething in the universe cannot change this.

After far too long, I spent the whole weekend hanging out with Esperanto speakers at the Brita Kongreso here in the UK (in Wales). It was awesome to be around old and new friends, using only Esperanto for the whole weekend. I forgot how much I love escaping the real world and living in Esperantujo. Really can't wait for IJK in summer, where instead of 60 people it'll be more like 200 . 🙏

It is unfortunate to see how slow countries are being to protect Ukraine, especially given that this slow response also happened during the Holocaust and led to ~6 millions Jews and others (those with impairments, disease, etc.) being killed. It is also disheartening to see people stereotype all people who come from or have ancestry from Russia. Not everyone of them supports Russia and it is wrong to assume such things.

I'm going to propose that any politician who advocates war should also be prepared to serve on the front line, by public vote. Anyone who manufactures weapons should be top of the conscription list, and will be responsible for using the weapons they make. Population centres that are about to become batllefields have the right to summon war advocates and weapons manufacturers from both sides of the conflict, either to serve as human shields, or to help rebuild their homes. Or both, if they survive.
