26/10/2021 (things i learned)
- Learning jawi not as easy as you taught... pening kepala (by the way, i completely understand why a dictionary is used now)
- my over obsessive fan theories do not correlate with reality whatsoever, this is all a trick
- Latin, Chinese, Arabic, Devanagari, Bengali-Assamese, Cyrillic, Kana, Javanese, Hangul, Telugu, Tamil, top 11 most popular writing scripts by active users
- Australian state (the government at least) presently is wayy more evil than i anticipated...
- Writing paragraph under timed condition is hard, especially when theyre judging your english
- I love young people like me who are hardcore intuitionists xD
- today sucked, i woke up at like 5pm, lunch (spaghetti) and dinner (nasi lemak + larvae) was nice tho
- holy... the rumi-jawi converter is sooo simple for how well it works (not perfect tho)... i wonder how they made the dictionary tho
- PHEW I still can compile CPython, building after updating grammar IS SO FAST. Yay I can use sebagai now instead of secara :)
- for future reference by the way, cuz i couldn't find it locally haha (scared me):
./configure #first time only make regen-pegen make
- damn, translating is hard. What malay word can replace str.strip in python?
- wtf GNU IceCat is not on fdroid?? Where tf did i download it from then? I want to update it... cuz the formatting is different from my computer one
- hm i wonder how to change arabic font without affecting latin font, the suggested OFL one by goodmami & google is great
- damn too tired dy, mixing up dots in jawi everywhere...
- css sucks ugh, especially RTL / LTR stuff & mobile font sizes
- huh kumon framework is actually practical and useful for my own envisioning of my own jawi learning
- Rumi = English Alphabet = ISO basic Latin alphabet https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_basic_Latin_alphabet
IETF BCP 47 language tag (BCP47, BCP-47, ISO 639, ISO639)
zsm-Latn (for Rumi)
zsm-Arab (for Jawi)
- huh so little work has been done for jawi computing huh... Singapore also contribute so much haha
- JawiPython would be really fun :) I wonder if Indonesia formalized their jawi or not
- "strawman argument"
- the Dong Zong "waste of time" argument pisses me tf off... rote memorizing BM essays is a waste of time... learning an entire new writing system is MIND EXPANDING
