Solderpunk mentions passing on a Yashica LM in a second-hand shop:

I spent the late 2000s madly buying up second-hand film camera gear, enjoying the feel of different cameras and trying to work out what worked best for me. A Yaschia Mat-124G was one purchase - the busted light meter didn't bother me, as I'd already grown used to hand-metering or just guessing with a few other cameras. What surprised me was that it quickly became my most-portable medium format kit, and ended up coming to multiple countries and contributing to numerous memories - I have a couple of nice prints on my wall, including the train station one linked below. As much as I love the images I've been able to make on my Kiev 60, it was never something I'd consider taking out of the country due to its weight. The very 90s Fuji 6x4.5 I have takes great portraits, but I don't love using it. I enjoy the feel of using the Yashica, and it's proven solid (though with a dent or two on the top, perhaps :). Highly recommended if you see another, some day. 6x6 is a lovely format, with plenty of detail (if you want it).
