• Inhibit power management:

kde-inhibit --power {command} {command_arguments}

• Inhibit screen saver:

kde-inhibit --screenSaver {command} {command_arguments}

• Launch VLC, and inhibit color correction (night mode) while it's running:

kde-inhibit --colorCorrect {vlc}
