If you have friends your own age you can hang out with-preferably people who don't judge you- it might help you with your anxiety.

I think opening up to She Who Must Be Obeyed helped. I Don’t have that many friends (of any age) and two years of lockdown and home working, a bit of a hermit mentality.
But - noted - need to get out and talk.
