A morning walk, then sitting and watching from the window. Through the park there was the incessant chatter of the Noisy miners[1], and some magpies[2] in the tree tops — we're wondering when they'll start swooping, its getting near that time of year
Turning around and coming home there were a couple of Little ravens[3] cawing around, poking in the ground on the front lawns, the soft soil at the moment seems well received by all the diggers & worm hunters
Home, I can hear a butcherbird[4] calling somewhere nearby, and gazing out the study window I can see a Spotted dove[5] up on the power line to the neighbour's house
