Another afternoon ride up around Gardiners creek and Scotchmans creek paths, but nothing sprang out and caught my attention. Big fat boring feral pigeons[1] fluttering around, a couple of pairs of Spotted dove[2] on the ground or flying up to the low branches when I got too close, and the ubiquitous small flock of Crested pigeon[3] in the park off Warrigal road where Gardiners creek path goes under it. Nine of them today, always in the same spot feeding, I wonder what makes that part of the oval so popular with them?
