Yet another hot dusty windy afternoon as I went out on my daily ride, trying to use the paths along the creeks and stay under tree cover for some shelter. Past Huntingdale wetlands and there's distant views of black ducks[1] and a fly-over by a Little Pied cormorant[2]. Later I can hear rainbow lorikeets[3] and noisy miners[4] shrieking in the trees -- nothing much seems to like the hot windy weather, late afternoon is a poor time to go out for wildlife
