I guess I don't look at my phone much in the vicinity of having restarted it, but today I happened to and noticed this message/alert/notification/whatever-the-fuck:
"Messages is processing an incoming message"
Seriously? Do I *really* need to know that? Do I *really* need to have my head jerked phone-ward (due to eyes seeing a message/alert/notification/whatever-the-fuck appear) to read that essentially useless tripe? What does knowing that accomplish for me that the usual notification of an ACTUAL inbound message doesn't - the latter actually occurring at a time that matters because now there's actually something available for me to read?
This is part of why I'm likely not going back into software: there's this constant having to make some new shit - *any* new shit - up in order to feel as though moving technology forward via unbound, successive layers of fecal icing.
Ugh....
(Yeah, I know... sounds pitiful... but you know how it is when you feel like you ought to be posting some new shit - *any* new shit.... ;-) )
Do I *really* need to buy another piece of technology (watch) so I can shut up my first piece of technology (phone)?
Lol! I had this sort of encounter a while back elsewhere :-)
