After spending lots of time tweaking awesome to useve moved back to xmonad simply bacause every so often awesome woulld do strange things that could not be fixed
also there was the fact that other than a few minor issues xmonad is what wanted so moving to awesome was really just fexing an itch that didn't really work.
I think that I learnt stuff but on the whole I am happier now that I am back in xmonad.
With luck some time in the future there will be a version of xmonad or something very like it that works in wayland but until then I am going to stick with wht I have.
