Mayor's Midsummer Charity Ball returns to Cork County Hall

27 Apr

The moment that you have been waiting for is here. A night to get stylish, and pull the fanciest outfit you own out for the Mayor's Midsummer Charity ball this June. Anyone can pick up a ticket for this great night which is to include a fantastic cocktail reception, a three-course meal, wine and amazing entertainment.

The event, hosted by Councillor Gillian Coughlan, will reflect the Mayor's passion for supporting the best of County Cork as well as raising funds for three Cork-based charities: Breakthrough Cancer Research, the Irish Red Cross Ukraine Appeal for Cork County, and the West Cork Women Against Violence Project.

The ball will take place on Friday, June 10th at 6.30 pm, in Cork County Hall which will be transformed into a glittering ballroom for one memorable night only. It's a night that you do not want to miss.

There will be a chance to win fantastic prizes in the charity raffle, right before you can dance the night away to the amazing LoveBugs, one of Cork's best bands, who hail from Youghal. Make sure to dress to impress as there is a prize for the Best Dressed.

The Mayor said that she is "really looking forward to welcoming everyone to County Hall for the return of the Mayor’s annual charity event as we look to the future."

"It will be an evening of fine food and entertainment but above all, it will raise much-needed funds for three very deserving charities that need our support now more than ever," she added.

There will be loads of familiar faces there, including host Patricia Messenger from C103 fm, and the delightful folks from the Kinsale Drinks Company who will be providing delicious cocktails at the reception.

Tickets are priced at €100 with tables for ten costing €1,000, check out the details here.
