It's been too long! There's a video of a flash-mob dancing in the other window, and a second cup of tea is waiting to be brewed. Life is good, I swear.
Wow! What a ride over these last few weeks - I hope and trust that something very positive has been happening, although it might just be the coffee.
I think I can write ...
Where did those days go? Emacs tweaking, bits of journal, lots of Reiki, and not nearly enough reading ...
And the day has been very satisfactory, plodding along with little bits of this and that ... I promise a longer post tomorrow.
I've found a wonderful new word :: ploductivity.
OK, let's be more productive today. It's so spring-like!
A wet Saturday morning, with deep heavy rolls of thunder every half-hour or so: a day for reading and coffee.
Brain-Friendly Thinking on Youtube gave me the idea of a Strategy Lottery, which this morning has asked me to read a few more paragraphs of The Anti-Oedipus.
Where did that week go? Fiddling with oh-my-zsh, and then some dusting in /etc, and then moving the furniture around in ${HOME}.
Trying to make the site update with a git post-commit hook, followiing:
Thank you!
I've sent a lot of the last few days finished The Weight of Ink, by Rachel Kadish: a wonderful read.
A good day reading and adding another post to the site.
The weekend was long and busy: life. Today has been more relaxing with floors swept and bedding aired. There might even be poetry later.
Those swifts must have been a group passing over, because there are none around today. I wonder where they were going? Scotland? Norway? How far north do they go?
The idea, I think, is to do something productive sitting out in the sun, some productive thinking, perhaps with a pencil but certainly with another small cup of coffee. The swifts have arrived - Morocco.
After the rain yesterday, the sun has come out this afternoon. Sit in the sun, or try to do something productive on the computer?
I watched a couple of videos of Emma Estrela this afternoon, sitting under a waterfall in the Lake District last weekend. It's inspiring. There are no waterfalls here, but sitting in the morning for an hour or two without a shirt, a cold-air bath, is wonderful, and the videos help me to get some of the old fears in check.
Taking a break from a video interview between a couple of Wim Hof instructors, Jesse Coomer and Emma Estrela, which I downloaded using ytcc - thank you HexDSL!
