Over the weekend I was surprised to step outside and feel unseasonably warm weather. I think we were sitting around 65F on Saturday, with mild wind gusts. Mid-January is usually still the foggy/wet season here in stolen Patwin territory, so this came as a pleasant surprise. Nothing quite beats "open all the windows" weather.
My partner and I were discussing taking a walk along the nearby creek again. We haven't done that since September. When I went to check on the creek a couple of weeks ago however it was mostly dry and muddy, so my hope is thatthe warmer weather has started the snow-melt early. We'll see soon enough.
