Apparently, Gemini has been able to overcome the 90β9β1 Principle (1% Rule) - that within an internet community 90% of participants only consume content, 9% edit or modify content and 1% of participants add content.

I don't really understand why people say 'I've been working like a dog' when they mean to have been working hard... Actually dogs do not work, do they? Anyway, I've been working like a dog, and now I'll be sleeping like a log. :D

gloggery is a basic static site generator for blogs in Gemini, usually called gemlogs or glogs. You can get gloggery from its repository on GitHub. gemini://tilde.team/~easeout/gloggery/

I'm using Lagrange 1.9.1 opened from a usb stick on Ubuntu. It was compiled on a Debian system. It is fully operational - except it crashes when I try to open an http url. This was the final test. I confess that since day one here I was suspicious that this browser might have some shenanigan. Well, I could not find any. Curiously enough I simultaneously tested another well known Gemini browser, which I intuitively thought would be trustable and, guess what, it was not. (I hate when intuition wrongs me. Don't you?) I owe @skyjake an apology.

Some peole are comlaining that their TLS certificates expired, and asking what to do. The simplest thing is to ggenerate a new certificate using another nick. Secnd, if you really value your present nick you can ask @martin for help. Third, you can actually "extend" your certificate following the tutorial on the link I'll leave bellow, but if you're not familiar with keypairs perhaps you will not be able to do it. Here it is and good luck: https://techblog.bozho.net/jks-extending-a-self-signed-certificate/

Disclaimer: I do not bet. However I could bet that none of you knew that 1.6 English ell is equal to 6 feet. Least you would know, I imagine, that 1.6 Scotish ell is equal to 4.96 feet. :)) If you're reading an old book where things like a firkin of butter, a punch of prunes, a fother of lead, or a stone of butcher's meat appear, here's a tool to convert all those units - to the metric system, preferably. :)) https://www.convertunits.com/

Ambition Has Roots in Roman Politics - When candidates for public office in ancient Rome wanted to be elected, they had to do just what modern candidates must do. They had to spend most of their time going around the city urging the citizens to vote for them. The Latin word for this effort was ambitio, which came from ambire, a verb meaning βto go around.β Since this activity was caused by a desire for honor or power, the word eventually came to mean βthe desire for honor or power.β ... Been reading and experimenting with TLS certificates. Some are browser specific. Really? Others only work on the DE where they were creted, and not on another DE even on the same machine. The only browser that is able to bypass some of these limitations, but not all, is amfora. Access control in full.

Okay... I'm not trying to be negative or something, but this TLS certificates thing is a pain in the donkey. I mean, now it just needs to change the DE to have no access to my account here. I would have a lot more to say, but it would be unpleasant...

Worked through the whole weekend. Main machine is recovered. Good news: It's now running 5.10.0.9 kerneland all services hosted on metal are up. Bad news: Lost all VM servers (including the one that I was testing for gemini). What I have concluded: Women are better system admins than men - I think it's in their genes. https://www.bettertechtips.com/professional/want-to-become-a-better-techie-take-care-of-your-analog-life/
