Had our first really warm day today. Broke out the lawn mower. Started drifting in thought while cutting. Nothing really, just in and out of different things. But I hadn't been in a state of just roaming around in my head since the pandemic. What I did find out is that I really need to dust out the old noggin. Clearly I need to pick back up some old hobbies.

I've always had this mental block about SiriusXM being an obsolete satelite radio company stuggling to stay relevant versus carplay & android auto . But now that I've been using it for a while, it's hands down my favorite music streaming service. They have mixes put together by actual DJs (with no ads) that are are sooo much more interesting than the usual spotify/apple/pandora algorithms.

I got a dip pen set while I was in Italy a could of weeks ago and have been using it to write my diary. It makes you realise what we take for granted with modern pens. I love it, though. Really makes writing feel like a craft!

Having started in IT in the late 80's early 90's, I cut my teeth on Gopher, WAIS, Veronica, etc. I have to say, not since then have I had as much enjoyment from a tech, as I have with Gemini. All the crap and garbage of the web is gone, and I get that "feeling" again of exploring the thoughts and content of others, a sense of exploring and seeing what's around this corner or down this alley, as I explore. I look forward to finding great content here.

For those that drink beer, what's one of your favorites (that you're excited to find in the store or in a pub? can be a style or brand-name) For those that don't what beverage is your go-to? I homebrew, but I generally like Marzen and Alt beers. I'm not a hop-head but I do like a moderate IPA, too. For N/A beverage I like unsweet tea (iced black tea or hot green tea)
