Today was the first kayaking trip, an intro to kayaking class. It was really good to get out on the water.
Hanging out on the water again was awesome. Lots of birds, and a couple of sea lions. One of the guides explained the importance of eelgrass to seashore ecologies.
After getting the fundamentals in, we paddled towards Brook Island, which is where the trip next week is headed to. I'm already looking forward to being back out on the water.
