Wow first gemlog post wow much exciting
... except it isn't. I've already posted a couple of things over on flounder.online, but I like it better here so I'll mainly be writing on this capsule from now on.
Right now I'm still doing a lot of setup (dotfiles, checking what software's available, etc.) but hopefully soon I will have more time to write about various things. I'm considering doing the "100 days to offload" challenge, which involves writing 100 /[bg]log/ posts within a year, even if they're not about anything very interesting. Just read their own website it explains it much better than I am:
First paragraph from there, in case you don't want to boot up a web browser:
Posts don’t need to be long-form, deep, meaningful, or even that well written. If there are spelling and grammar mistakes, or even if there’s no real point to the post, so what? What’s important is that you’re writing about the things you want to write about.
In other news, the very cool conlang Toki Pona just got an ISO 3-letter language code - 'tok' - after 14 years, so that's pretty neat. Hopefully we'll see more localisations in the language as a result of this ;)
