My mother's husband died yesterday morning... early. My mother called me @ 0100. His kids want a large memorial service sometime in February, "so everyone can come." I think this is ridiculous and am going to codify my wishes in a will so my children won't do something dumb.
I am driving from Wyoming to New Mexico today to spend some time with my mother. it is a 12 hour drive, of course longer with stops. I am driving straight thru.
