this article is a tutorial on how to write a good paper.
writing is a skill that people need to express themselves with words, but on paper!
writing is important, and if you keep reading, i'm sure you will find content that will help you on your writing journy!

i'm linen and i've been writing since i was [age] years old.
an article, paper, essay, document, journal entry, or otherwise some sort of written page (usually written with ink or graphite, or on a computer or a device such as a smartphone) should be as long as it needs to be. not longer, not shorter, but just right (like the cereal brand "just right". it doesn't have too much sugar, or too many oats; it's "just right")!
some documents (like the types listed above), dare i say *most* of them, are usually filled to the brim with lots of fluff, and the main point of the article is usually buried underneath piles and piles of letters and words!!. they almost always, nearly without fail, ramble on and on and *on* and on and on about completely unrelated topics (usually referring to metadata like "hi my name is x and this article is going to be about [title]. i hope that, if you keep reading below, you will find all of the info that you need to understand [title]", an entire page of it, before actually starting to write any amount of relevant paragraphs!!
i think that the reason articles are so trivially long is because our education system is fundamentally flawed (or at least, flawed in some certain aspects regarding writing). students in this system are usually forced to write lengthy papers in order to meet a particular "word count" (a number of words that you need to include in the essay / article). this raises the mindset that /all/ articles should be long, so that when they finally start writing on their own, their papers are oddly.... lengthy!
i'm not great at writing (in fact, i'd go as far to say that i'm outright clumsy when i'm at the keyboard), but i like to think that my posts and articles are short and readable, and not super complicated or fluffy.
