Kelson Vibber has a stack of posts about re-reading Les Miserables
I've not read the book. I saw a film of the musical. Too much bloody singing, but I may be biased by my dislike of musicals. I also saw the first episode of a TV series which made much more impression on me. So I suspect that I might read this book. But what I actually did was read some of the posts /about/ the book instead. Much quicker, and, thanks to Kelson Vibber, pretty engaging too.
P.S. I used some emphasis in this post. Here are a couple of emphasis schemes I've seen recently suggested.
*italic* _bold_ *bold* /italic/ _underscore_
And here's Markdown (according to Wikipedia)
_italic_ **bold** `monospace`
It's amusing that none of these agree how it works.
And then there are accessibility issues. But what do I know about that?
