Another writing / technique experiment
I get the car out and have a look round Ikea, a big blue building. The showroom is like a fantasy world or a game of make-believe. I wander into a room as dark as the tomb and I ask myself, `who would live in this room?' A vampire perhaps?
I then take a picture of this high gloss kitchen.
One thing leads to another and eventually leads to the market hall. Here they have homewares, rugs, candles, lamps, curtains, crockery, wall art, clocks, yep, all manner of thing for everyone. Beyond that is the warehouse and then soon the motorway home beckons. At the end of the day I like Ikea. I like the way the items have Swedish names. The aesthetics are quite Scandi.
