A rough draft 15 dec 2021
TOO MUCH GOING ON
\i like the idea of a coffee table with nothing on it. But I do have
objects I love, such as a vase, a tiny porcelain house and a little
toy car, all that stuff, but I stumbled across this idea of
putting the items away, and having it empty. A lot of folks have
an objet d`art in the window, crystal or a candle.
I think some of those trinkets look awesome but there is a tipping
point. You can`t keep shoe-horning in more and more stuff. It feels as if the room is closing in on me. Try to have the
window ledge empty, and have it like an empty shelf. Alright so far. So
next the mantlepiece. It looks best with nothing on it ; less visual clutter.
Another thing would be fridge magnets. This
is something we can all agree on. You
should have nothing stuck to the fridge! A fridge magnet has no business
being stuck to a fridge. It looks dated. And so you start to
see the room as the way it originaly
was and the fridge and the coffee table and the fireplace, you can see the basic
structure of them too.
And you have more space to move.
It`s easy to clean too.
