I usually don't make New Year's resolutions or keep goals for the year, but the past few years have been so depressing, I felt the need to make a list and see if I can get through some of them (in no particular order):
We moved into a new home last September and, while functional, the kitchen needs a major overhaul. We started the process of working with a kitchen design firm and have initial deposits all set. Now we're just waiting for cabinets to be built and appliances to arrive (ETA March/April 2022)
The foundation walls of our 1888 farmhouse basement are stones. The basement is mostly dry, but very drafty as was the style in the 2000's when the house was originally expanded. CT Basement Systems is going to come and install their weather proofing liner system to tighening everything up and remove the drafts (ETA March 2022).
