Gardai find drugs worth over €25,000 in attic of home in Cork city suburb as one man arrested

Gardai have seized drugs worth over €25,000 in Cork and arrested one man following a search at a home yesterday.

On 28 February, Gardai made a search at a house in Togher on the southside of the city and seized drugs estimated to be worth €25,080.

In the attic of the house, cannabis herb estimated to be worth €12,480 and amphetamines with a value of €12,600 were seized.

One man was arrested following the seizure.

The man in his 30s, was taken to Bridewell Garda Station where he remains detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.

The drugs seized will now be sent for further analysis.

Gardai say investigations are ongoing.
