My wife and I made gyozas for the first time, stuffed with a mushroom and spinach preparation.
If you are not familiar with those, they are Japanese dumplings with a thin wrapper and recognizable shape. The most common ones use a pork based preparation, but we had fresh oyster mushrooms (pleurotes in French) that needed to be cooked somehow.
While it still took a while, folding them was actually way easier than what we expected and turned out pretty well! We served it with fried rice, and soy sauce to dump them in, and bon appétit!
Note: I'm not going to post the full recipe because we didn't make the wrapper dough ourself, and you can fill them with whatever you want.
