It's a snowy New Years Eve. The apartment is still a bit messy from the aftermath of the apartment's quarterly acid trip. Me and my boyfriend are hanging out before they leave for work today.
As a final post before I potentially get booted off the front page of CAPCOM for the month, I will be answering Christina's 5 questions for the month of January

This year I started to read William Gibson's cyberpunk books to try and help me GM Cyberpunk 2020 for my friends. I didn't get far before school work took over and I lost my place in Neuromancer. Though I did really enjoy what I did read. Maybe now that I'm on break I should crack them open again.
A long time ago I gave up on trying to make big changes on my life every year. I found that it's much easier for me to make those changes slowly over time as they come up rather than all at once while everyone else is starting theirs. Plus it helps avoid the apathy that comes when everyone around you begins to drop their resolution but you're still going.
Healthiness is a combination of several complicated things that many people who aren't me have spent a lot more time and money studying, but overall the goal of health in my opinion should be happiness. Being healthy should include a positive mindset, a good support network of freinds and family, a body that doesn't ache or struggle through daily life, and a set of goals and aspirations that one works toward actively.
Lately, I've been sleeping in to 1pm with my boyfriend and staying up past midnight getting high and watching movies with my roommates. This wasn't always the case, but with all my friends working second shift and me not having a job or class right now it just sort of happened.
When I get into the groove of waking up early though, I really enjoy it. Breakfast is the tastiest meal of the day, and a nice cold coffee on a warm summer day beats any ammount of sleep available.
As soon as I possibly can. I can't wait for the pandemic to end.
Have a happy holidays and a merry new year
