TechnoChivalry

The 1890s gave us a LOT of bad historians. Most of them gave us a strange, romantic view of our forebears. Vikings with horn helmets hail from this era. The idea of the white Jesus hails from this era. The 10 commandmentsof Chivalry, also come from Leon Gautier of this era. They do very little to reflect on the actual noble Habitus.

They do, however, give us a good starting point for developing a code of conduct for the modern day. In an era where it seems more and more that things might come to blows, we need a code of honor.

The Code of TechnoChivlary

Thou shalt believe all that science can teach.
Thou shalt defend truth in the face of lies.
Thou shalt respect all weaknesses, and shalt constitute thyself the defender of them.
Thou shalt love the planet upon which thou wast born.
Thou shalt not recoil before thine enemy.
Thou shalt make war against bigotry without cessation and without mercy.
Thou shalt perform scrupulously thy studies, to better understand the laws of nature and liberal arts.
Thou shalt never lie, and shalt remain faithful to thy pledged word to those who are faithful with theirs.
Thou shalt be generous, and give largesse to all.
Thou shalt be everywhere and always the champion of Right and the Good against Injustice and Evil.
