The Jobstown Assisting Drug Dependency Service is continuing to operate for people in the Tallaght area.
Medical treatment, harm reduction, family support, childcare and other services which it provides are fully funded into 2022, according to JADD
This week, JADD called for investment to provide support for crack cocaine services next year.
In the absence of funding, it says it will be forced to severely curtail crack cocaine support.
Yesterday, co-ordinator of the project in Jobstown Shane Hamilton warned that crack cocaine outreach services would have to close in 2022, if the service did not receive adequate funding.
Today, he says clarity has not been given regarding what funding will be made available to the service which will have to close if this is not provided.
However, JADD is keen to point out that all its other services such as medical treatment, harm reduction, family support and childcare are fully funded and are operating as normal and will continue to do so next year.
