I'm a software engineer by trade, and tech enthausiast by night.
I do like writing/typing which is why i'm giving this a go. The simpler format also helps to structure my layouts a bit, while not being so overbearing that actually writing the damn document is a pain.
I've spent a good 2/3 years playing competative counterstrike. Never got good enough to be noteworthy though. That was a blast of a time, spending hours a day training myself. Still not one hundred percent convinced it wasn't a waste of time though...
History has been my favorite subject in school. Still enjoy reading acoup's blog about random historical topics. The testing in school at the time really killed my interest in learning about it. For some reason they focused on the specific years of historical events/people. Was enough for me to drop the class.
