Two men have been charged in relation to a serious assault on a teenage girl and boy in Ballyfermot, Dublin, a week ago.
They are due to appear at the Criminal Courts of Justice tomorrow morning.
The incident happened on the Ballyfermot Road at around 9.35pm on 30 December 2021.
The men, described as two male adult teenagers, are being detained at garda stations in west Dublin, after a number of searches this morning in Ballyfermot and Clondalkin.
A female and a male sustained serious injuries in the incident which happened near the Civic Offices, Ballyfermot Road.
The two victims, both in their late teens, have since been released from St James's Hospital and will continue to receive treatment as outpatients.
