I have to say I like the simplicity of this and with all things in life, I kinda believe it's good to keep things simple. I'm also a bit jaded of the world wide web as we know it today, but it seems to be the norm and people can't remove themselves from the familiarity and perceived usefulness of it.
I'm not sure what the fascination is. I guess it'd be impossible to view a video over ascii text, so that's all media content out with this platfrom. However, I believe I'd be happy to read well formatted informative content using the gemini protocol.
