60% keyboard

My cheap 100% keyboard was a bit clapped out so I got a ducky one 2 mini, a 60% keyboard. At some point in my past I've had a compact-ish typematrix orthonormal keyboard, but that died pretty quick, it didn't seem to bring much benefits and I'd rather stick with a more conventional layout so that switching between keyboards is not too difficult.

New keyboard

I've rebound Capslock with L_Ctrl, and moved the Fn key next to the space bar, which I'm going to need to reach the missing 40%:

|Esc| |BSpace|
|Tab| | \ |
|Ctr| |Enter|
|Shift| |Shift|
|Ctr|Met|Alt| Space |Fn|Alt|Met|Ctr|

My main uses will be typing and coding, and I wanted to get something with a small footprint so that I have more desk space for my stylus and mouse.

While I can use my thumb to hold Fn and access most keys, ideally I would be able to additionally bind Fn to the L_Ctrl. Unfortunately the keyboard only allows you to swap positions of keys on the bottom row, not have duplicates...

While I use R_Shift, and occasionally R_Alt (altgr-intl), I never use R_Meta or R_Ctrl. Similarly, I expect to use L_Ctrl less and less as I get more comfortable with L_Ctrl in the Capslock place. But so far I don't have any ideas what to bind these three keys to so that they would be useful.

Things to consider

If you are thinking about a 60% keyboard like this, some things to consider:
