Hello, Pub

Hi, I am TMO. I write a lot, and I would like to write something here.

First, thank you to m15o for the key, I'll be sure to pick up a round of drinks via BuyMeACoffee as soon as I can :)

So what's new? What's cookin'? What's been happening?

Nothing much here. Been a hot minute since I stopped in for Midnight coffee at Midnight.pub (I will stop in again soon), but I wanted to create a space here on Smol Pub, because I think Gemini Space, and quirky things like it, are pretty cool.

Also, I (re)discovered Radio.garden, which is possibly one of the coolest things on the Internet. It gives one access to SO MANY radio stations from all across the world, and you can just tune-in via your web browser or application on a phone (iOS + Android supported). I am listening via browser right now to Punk 4 Punks from somewhere in Montana (MT). There is even a station in my Hometown of Fenton, Missouri! Cool!

I've been experimenting in this space, wanting to get into HAM radio (as in listening, not broadcasting), and maybe just independent shortwave stuffs - less commercial. Also, been going down the audiophile rabbit hole for X amount of months, and just learning as much as I can, while listening simultaneously.

There's just something about staying up through the night, with the lights turned off/turned low, and tuning-in to some far off station and hearing voices from "out there". There is almost something supernatural to it. It's like a small media stream that just *exists*, and isn't meant for mass consumption, nor is it trying to be "everything to everyone", because there is no monetary incentive to do so.

So here I sit, espresso poured, Ramones serenading me, the airwaves of distant media causing me to tap my foot (and caffeine, caffeine is causing that, too).

Hope everyone is doing good :D
